If you need your vehicle towed during a rental, please call our support number (888) 688-6769 - > Press 1 for the accident phone line -> Press 2 to report a new accident -> Press 1 for roadside assistance. A support agent will help to dispatch a tow for the vehicle (9am-5pm PST 7 days a week).
The driver must keep the owner informed if such a situation occurs. Outside of operating hours, the owner is responsible to call up the towing company and get the vehicle towed. If the owner is unavailable, then the driver will call up the towing company and coordinate accordingly. The driver must note down the location of the towing lot for future reference. The owner is responsible for the towing fees. Please keep a copy of the receipt.
The driver will need to inform HyreCar via the Dashboard -> Contact Support button.
Note: The rental must be active with current insurance. Please note that if HyreCar customer support dispatches a tow, the limit is 30 miles from pickup to drop off location.
Please note only for late rentals, we are not responsible for tow or repo fees if an owner decides to tow or repo the vehicle without HyreCar’s consent.
