If you are in an accident, please get to a safe area and make sure to call 911 if you are injured or need to file a police report. Get the police report number if one is filed.
Call the owner and tell them that an accident has occurred. Either party may report the accident to HyreCar by going to the dashboard and clicking “Contact Support” or calling (213) 805-8677 between the hours of 6:00am and 11:30pm PST.
If another party is involved, make sure to exchange proper insurance information.
Take as many photos as possible from all angles and make notes about what occurred.
If the vehicle needs to be towed between 6:00am and 11:30pm PST, please call our support number (213) 805-8677 and follow the prompts. After hours, owner and driver must coordinate to get the car to safety. The driver is responsible for noting where the car is towed to. Clickhere to read about our towing policies.
If the vehicle is still drivable, the driver is expected to drop the vehicle off at the owner’s location immediately and end the rental.
If a rideshare app was on, record where you were on your trip and get contact information for any rideshare passengers.
