Driving History
Based on the applicant's age, we require all drivers to have a certain amount of driving experience. This can be based off of DMV records or the issue date found on the license.
- Driver Age 21-25: At least 1 year of driving experience
- Driver Age 26+: At least 6 months of driving experience
However, in some circumstances, the issue date on the license may not reflect the accurate driving history. This often occurs when applicants move to a new state and are issued a new driver’s license or when applicants renew their expired driver’s license.
In this instance, we may ask you to provide additional documents to validate your driving history.
Acceptable Documents:
- An expired driver’s license
- A DMV record or abstract
- A driver's license from another country
