Owners are required to submit all claims and incidentals related to the rental within 24 hours. HyreCar will review, determine liability, and invoice the Driver. If a Driver defaults on the payment, Owner Protection Plan claims will be processed and reimbursed separately from a deposit.
Deposits will be applied to outstanding or unpaid in this order
- Insurance fees
- Transaction fees
- Owner earnings
Remaining deposit funds may be used for additional outstanding expenses and fees as described above at HyreCar’s discretion.
Note: Owners have the option to charge Drivers a deposit to cover potential expenses such as tickets and tolls that may be incurred during the rental period. This deposit serves as a safeguard and is refundable based on the terms agreed upon between the Owner and the Driver.
