When Drivers submit a rental request, Owners are alerted and will have 24 hours to approve the request. Payment is charged to the card on file once the Owner accepts the booking, meaning Drivers pay up front before picking up the vehicle. They can start with a minimum of two days and can extend as long as they need the rental.
HyreCar accepts most credit and debit cards as payment, but we do not accept Apple Pay or PayPal at this time.
If an Owner does not accept a request in 24 hours, the Driver is alerted and is welcome to book another option. For assistance with finding a vehicle, Drivers can reach out to our Driver Success Team, or click "Contact Support” in the app to be connected to an agent.
Note: We recommend that Drivers make at least 5 booking requests to expedite the approval process. The first Owner that approves a request is the car that the Driver will be charged for, and the remaining requests will be automatically canceled to prevent Drivers for being charged for more than one rental.
