What is considered wear and tear?
Normal wear and tear includes but is not limited to scratches, dents, punctures, cracks or cosmetic blemishes less than 6 inches in length. This also includes any wear to tires, rims, wheels, hubcaps, and undercarriage. Additionally, HyreCar does not reimburse for any window or windshield damage that is not the result of an accident or collision.
Is wear and tear covered by HyreCar’s Protection Plans?
Wear and tear is outside of the scope of the HyreCar Protection Plans. As a vehicle Owner a proportional amount of cosmetic & mechanical depreciation should be expected while being rented for extended periods of time.
